PRE-STREAMING REQUIREMENTS
Recently Ustream (the service we use to do our online streaming) changed the way they presented ads to the viewer while watching live streams. Due to this change, we are now strongly suggesting that any of you who wish to attend class via online streaming, use the internet browser, called Mozilla Firefox. In addition to using Firefox, you must simply download a browser plugin called AdBlock Plug. Below are instructions on how to install both items. If you do not choose to do this, then every 15 minutes or so, your online streaming will be interrupted by a full screen 30 second ad. This is the best solution we can find at this time. We want your streaming experience to be simple and easy, and these couple of steps will create that experience for you. ~ Thanks so much for your patience as we grow to better serve you!
1. To download Mozilla Firefox, please go here and click on the FIREFOX green button as shown below.

Download the file and install on your computer. Once completed, you should see an shortcut icon on your desktop.
Be sure your FIREFOX browser is open. If not, open it now and go to the next step below.
2. To install the plugin AdBlock Plus, go here
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/. Click on the ADD TO FIREFOX green button.
The plugin should start to automatically install. There is no download to your computer for this file. During the install you will be asked to restart your FIREFOX browser and then the installation will continue with a screen about a filter subscription. FANBOY’s LIST maybe automatically selected or if not, then choose that one from the drop down list. Just make sure it is an ENGLISH version.
Please click on the ADD SUBSCRIPTION button to finish the installation
Once the browser and plugin have been installed, you should be able to view our online streaming classes ad free. To check if it installed correctly, you should now see a red icon in the lower left hand corner of firefox that reads ABP and shown below.
STREAMING INSTRUCTIONS
When the video stream begins, you will be prompted for the following password: PASSWORD HERE
ONLINE CHAT AREA
You will also notice a chat box next to the video stream. We are making this available so you can interact with one another and submit questions to Sunny. (However, if you choose not to use the chat feature, you can still submit a question by clicking on the “Submit A Question” link under the video.)
In order to use the chat room, you have to create a user account with Ustream. Please follow these included instructions to do this (one time,) then you will be all set for the remainder of the course.
1. Begin typing a message in the box located underneath the tab labeled Audience and click on the send button:
2. You will be taken to the following screen. Click on the “Sign Up” button to continue.
3. Enter your account details. (See example pictured below.) When completed, click on the submit button.
4. Once you click the submit button, an account will be created for you and you can now submit questions or comments during our live stream. Please note, you will get a confirmation email from Ustream with your account details.
