This retreat helps you move thru or learn to move thru issues you may be stuck in ~ I for one have trust issues, meaning trusting that I am loved, can be loved and am loving. Some people refer to one exercise as a human basket and I was one of those chosen to be supported in this human basket ~ I had to trust that those that had chosen to support me would be able to hold me as I was in the basket. I had to let go and fully surrender my trust to them to fully feel being loved and allowing those to fully love me ~ Releasing and letting others love me is a big issue for me and this experience was remarkable. I did let go and allowed the love to come into my heart. I stayed in my heart and allowed the love to flow. Listening to Spirit to let go and let others love you was so powerful. I know now I have to stay open and receptive to allowing others to love me! Thank you for creating this sacred space!

The Communication exercise at the retreat allows you to tell 2 people face to face how they have affected you. WOW! That was an amazing experience of talking, realizing and emotionally expressing.

This experience has been full of surprises, wonderful accomplishments, being scared and sharing with others and being honest with myself. The warmth of others, the support and love received was overwhelming, but needed and wanted. My experience here involving the death of my mother still has me baffled. It was a true release of grief and an acknowledgment to my loss of her.

Incredible-
Time after time I gained insight on issues and how to work them out. But being able to trust was an eye opening unforgettable experience that still brings tears to my eyes. Tears of gratitude - Tears of acceptance. The release was powerful and I'll never forget my support team. And if I ever go south I have this memory to bring me to my space. It made me realize we have support when we open up to receiving.

The spiritual connections were amazing. I connected with my Mom easily and frequently. I t was a great feeling. It's like meeting a group of long lost friends ~ many strangers, but once you start talking you discover many commonalities. I want to keep in touch with everyone.

An amazing journey that was well needed for this time in my life. Being a shy, introverted person has been my way of dealing with groups of new people; attending this retreat not only taught me how to honor myself, but not to be afraid of who I am becoming. The forgiveness exercise was truly intense and heart wrenching. As I began I thought there was much and many to forgive. But when I put into perspective what I owned and what they owned, most of the forgiveness needed was forgiving myself. With forgiving myself for the past and setting my intention to forever release, the fire finished it. I may now move forward with love, forgiveness and acceptance of myself.

It was a very interesting experience for me and I didn't know how much it affected me until Sunday afternoon and had a huge release on Sunday and Monday! I thought that I was releasing well while I was there but it hit me very hard but I feel wonderful and happy!!! I probably don't have to tell you what I found out about myself because you may already know that! It is funny because I know that I have issues but wow not exactly what I originally thought. You are so right and you have the experience to back you up!!! Thank you for everything and have a wonderful day!!!!

I definitely benefited a lot from all the releasing. I feel really drained but at the same time a lot lighter too. I learned a lot about myself and learned some tools work with. One of my favorite quotes you said is.... "Other peoples opinions of me are none of my business." That really says a lot in such a small sentence. I really want to thank you for the opportunity of sharing. I journaled more than I have in a long time. I also wrote 3 letters that I burned in the fire pit. I just want to thank you .

I've been in touch with many of the other ladies. I so blessed to have this whole new family in Minnesota and other places from where they traveled. It just so great to meet and grow with like minded people.

The thing that was the most wonderful about your retreat is finding out just how connect we all are as souls/spirits. The oneness that you bring us all to during the weekend, I have been able to bring home and teach to my children. I have already been able to teach in just one evening direct eye contact to my 14 year old who could never make direct eye contact before. Using the loving words and phrases that you taught us, along with effective communication skills I have found new ways to effectively communicate not only with the Angels but my children. What a wonderful gift you have brought out inside me.

If I had to give you metaphoric labels for this weekend a few might be, Sunny the Plumber - cleaning the gunk out of my pipeline to the Angels; Sunny the Communicator - teaching effective communication skills; Sunny the Counselor - teaching us how to get in touch with our inner self; Sunny the Preschool Teacher - showing us all how to be kids again; Sunny the Friend - the person who teaches how to love, be love and accept love.

What happen to me in the retreat was amazing, wonderful and spiritual. I came with the intention of spending some bonding time with my sister. To my amazement it became so much more then that. It has totally impacted my life. I cannot express in words the calmness I have now and the only way I can describe it is I feel lighter. My eyes, heart and soul have been opened and it has changed the way I look at people (including myself), places and things. I will continue on this journey as I want to continue to feel the way I do now, as I have not felt this good for a very long time. Thanks to everyone that participated in my experience I have not only been introduced to new wonderful friendships in all of you that were there, but re-introduced to myself. I just wanted to say that I really had a great experience on the retreat. I was looking for healing and release and I definitely received a lot of both. This weekend was emotionally intense. I learned a few things about myself that may have taken me a lot longer to realize had I not attended.

The weekend I spent with 32 lovely souls was the best ever. I felt healed, energized and very loved. Acceptance was never an issue, even when I felt less than adequate in some of the exercises. I learned a great deal about myself and  was pleased to learn how to love myself for what I am. Besides, I learned to look at others on a very different level. There is a lovely souls deep inside so many other people that I had never explored before. There were so many life lessons, I could go on forever. This was a most powerful retreat - emotionally stirring, draining and loving. I feel as if I've had an 'emotional massage' in that so much was released. The Briar Patch is a piece of heaven and we could not have found a more beautiful spot in which to meet, learn and co-exist with nature! The music was awesome!
