Kris – Sunny’s Musician Posting

It’s been a great stay in Texas. We have met so many beautiful souls and touched so many hearts. We ended our tour in Houston at the Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E. (Association for Research and Enlightenmnet) Center with a wonderful group of people who were inspired to work with the Archangels and to connect with one another. What continues to amaze me is how we start out all of our workshops as strangers and end up as one. Never fails…it is a beautiful thing to witness and be a part of. People are really interested in knowing more about their angles and how to connect with them. I think we are all looking for support and help to move thru our life and the enthusiasm and desire is there. It’s exciting to be a witness to other’s first experience in feeling the angelic realm.

What an interesting experience this workshop turned out to be. This evening has taught me to have my adventure shoes on all the time…and be flexible and willing to change on a dime. Sunny and I got there early so we could set up our stuff and Sunny could do her interview. Turns out the auditorium room we were supposed to be in…just had it’s floor stained and was still wet. We walked around the grounds trying to find another room…and after several deep breaths and a big does of allowing…we found the perfect spot. We had the workshop in area outside the restaurant. We were a little nervous about the big black clouds that were lingering above us…but we just trusted Spirit. And despite the sirens, car screeches, birds and more…the workshop was a great success. Sunny even showed her good nature…as a bird pooped on her clothes. Gotta love it!! All in all…it was a great night!!

What a beautiful space we had to connect with more souls. The San Antonio Center for Spiritual Living welcomed us with open arms. The staff was there to help us with whatever we needed and it’s always a joy to have that kind of support when you are travelling. The participants were warm and receptive and we shared many angelic experiences. Awesome night!!

What I learned today, was don’t start an update on your iphone when you are ready to leave the hotel room. The updates require wirless…and can take a loooong time. Also, I continue to have hair issues with the humidty. I think that a desert girl does not do well in a moist climate. We have learned that we do not like authentic Mexican food. We prefer the On The Border Style food…the American version of Mexican food. We’ve also learned that sunshine is a gift. So far we have had 2 days of sunshine out of 8. This desert girl loves her sunshine.

We’ve also learned that ONE sit down meal a day is enough. Power bars, almonds, rice crackers and fruit fill in the gaps. It’s nice to have a hotel with a work out room when you need to move energy. I proved to Kris…that I can indeed work out. I am a tough, strong chick.

Texas Wildflowers

While driving from San Antonio to Laredo, we saw these beautiful white and pink wildflowers on the side of the road. Pretty!! Not used to seeing those colors.

Barnes and Noble Bookstore (Arboretum) – Austin, Texas

We had a wonderful book signing at Barnes and Noble. Again, we continued to meet many wonderful people. Pretty cool walking in the store and seeing the set up they had for Sunny!

First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio

Getting to the church was quite an experience. We left Austin with plenty of time to get to San Antonio and eat dinner before we opened for Don Muguel Ruiz or so we thought. Turns out the directions to the church are not accuratly calculated by garmin. This is the quote we discoverd on their website, after finding our way to the city dump.

Using Mapping Software (GPS, MapQuest, Google Maps, etc) Our official address of 7150 W Interstate 10 often does not accurately map. It is best to use the following street intersection:

Gill Rd & Beryl Dr, San Antonio Texas 78213 Just entering Gill Road, San Antonio, usually works, too.

What is that saying…live and learn????? Noted…for the next trip… perhaps we should check each location’s website for specific directions in case our trusty garmin does not work … We finally arrived at the church, after some lighter moments of Rudolph the Red Noise Reindeer blasting from Sunny’s ipod. As were entered the church, we could already feel the energy of the audience. We were excited and ready to roll. Sound checked, product table ready…and time to take the stage. Randy Divalla, the CEO of Hampton Publishing and the published of Sunny’s book, gave her a great intro and Sunny took the stage. As always, she captivaed the audience with her honesty, vulnerablility, and wit. She did a great job and reached out to many new people.

One other thing to note…we wish we had more pictures of the actual event…but are discovering that it is hard to be on stage and shooting pics at the same time:-)
